So our team is starting slow....

Oh well. It could be worse. Our offense started clicking today, and has a lot to build on. Our special teams has a lot of "not to do" tape to watch and improve from, and our Defense will continue to get better.

I have faith in the defense, they will start clicking, and when they do it will be fun to watch.

I dont know what the deal is with our coaching, but I am confident that they will review the tape and get better.

We have a big game in Dallas, one I dont think we CANT win. I honestly expect us to play our best football of the season on Monday night.

So what, were starting slow, but its only week 2, and there is A LOT of football yet to play.

Keep your heads up folks, its easy to lose faith, just don't forget why your a fan.

Go Panthers!!!

What exactly have you seen from the defense that makes you think they will eventually click? I could understand if we were getting beat like in philly by giving them the ball on our own 10 or losing on fluke plays, but ship were getting drubbed. Hell we are getting drubbed in every aspect of the game. I also feel like ATL played a very vanillia game today on defense knowing they could turn it on at anytime. I got the feeling they were playing with us today. I really dont see where you can find anything possitive.

It amazes me to see so many new members that signed up for the SOLE PURPOSE of bashing Jake, the defense, the team, etc...

How many new members joined right after last week's game? How many of them have done anything but bash the franchise? I understand some need to talk to others or rant to vent anger and frustration.... but Christ... go outside and enjoy the nice weather or something...

Hard to have faith with this schedule: (with my realistic predictions)

Week 3 @Cowboys L

Week 4 Bye

Week 5 Redskins W

Week 6 @Tampa W

Week 7 Buffalo W

Week 8 @Arizona L

Week 9 @NO L

Week 10 Atlanta W

Week 11 Miami W

Week 12 @NYJ L

Week 13 TB W

Week 14 NE L

Week 15 MIN L

Week 16 @NYG L

Week 17 NO W (most likely just because NO has wrapped up a playoff spot)

Final Record 7-9. No playoffs this year.

But I will watch every game and root anyway! Even though things aren't going well, I am glad to be watching football again!

    • Corbett knows he needs to take a prove it deal and I think he will.  I watched an interview and he was convincingly adamant he wants to stay.  Two different injuries in two years was bad luck.  It's not like it was the same thing.  He knows the game and figures to end his career in a place where he is happy.  You can't really compare how Bryce did with Mays compared to AC.  AC was hurt week 5.  Bryce was on the bench after week 2 and didn't return until week 8. Mays is basically under team control next year as a RFA.  We could offer the right of first refusal for 3m.  I'd offer a 2 year deal which averages a little higher so you can manipulate the cap on his deal.  Additionally, I'd resign Corbett to a team friendly deal.  Many forget he has positional versatility like BC.  Corbett is only one year older, is two inches shorter, about 10 pounds heavier, and has arms that are one inch longer.  Corbett has played LT in college and guard/center in the NFL.  Ideally, bring back all three, but if BC gets big time $$$ AC and CM can battle for center and the other becomes a swing lineman. If we cut bait on Yosh Nijman we may be able to keep all three.  I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat.
    • As fans, we often exaggerate how bad our team owner is because we are so invested and focused on our team. We don't really see how bad other team owners, like Woody Johnson or Robert Kraft, because we are focused on the Panthers.
