if you can inextricably tie the patriots trading chandler jones to why they have rings and come up with some caveat for why the panthers doing nearly the same thing under nearly the same circumstances is inextricably tied to why we don't then you have something.  until then it's just irrelevant "edgy" shitposting.

Well, they have the brass balls to do so.  When you have rings, especially one that's recent, you can make moves like this and it'll be okay.

But, when you have nothing in regards to rings, making moves like this doesn't look as good.  You can say it's poo posting, but in reality in makes sense.  

If we have a ring from last year, making moves like this is fine by anyone's standards.  But since we have jack poo, making moves like this doesn't sound as appealing.

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense at all.

If it's a smart move right now, under the current circumstances, then it's a smart move regardless of what the team's history is. I don't really give a s--t how it "sounds".

And believe it or not, the Patriots actually do still make dumb decisions despite having Super Bowl rings, as does every other team that's won a championship.

No matter how good your reputation might be, past accomplishments don't prevent you from making present mistakes. Likewise, past failures don't prevent you from making smart moves in the here and now.
