Belichick doesn't boast to the media. He mostly just says "grumble grumble go screw yourselves grumble grumble." They've won 4 Super Bowls. They get every benefit of the doubt because they've earned it over a very long period of time. Gettleman was even praised for the job he is doing and how he's done it. This was purely about his comments to the media and how agents were put off by it. Trying to compare this to anything about the Patriots is nonsensical.

Like others have said, that's why peanut wants to play for us only and Jared Allen said it was the best locker room he's ever been in. It's odd, national coverage doesn't get this team. I swear us and rich eisen are the only ones who get this team.
