Gettleman putting himself on blast. Glad he agrees with me again.

Nice to see Gettleman realizes he has had 4 off-seasons of degrading the receiver position, and acknowledging how he has hindered Cam's potential while tossing himself on Cam's coattails to get to the "promised land". If Gettleman did his job and found receivers who could catch the ball consistently, then the Panthers likely have a Lombardi in their trophy case.

If he wants receivers who do not drop the ball 50% of the time or more, then go get them and stop getting rid of the receivers that can catch the ball. He has had 4 off seasons to accomplish this, and has not been able to get it done.

Same goes for the offensive tackle position, which cost the Panthers several times over the past two seasons. Upgrading from a horrible experiment of Chandler/Bell which put the Panthers as the worst pass protecting team in the NFL to now bottom 5 to 8 of the league is not an improvement worth touting. Then Gettleman pays out the same money he could have used 2 seasons ago to get a better offensive tackle. Horrible decisions at offensive tackle and wide receiver have cost this team even greater success.

Too obvious.

I award you no points.

The Gant article narrative was much superior to the Voth article narrative. Not understanding the system Brees and Newton run is a red flag when someone starts spitting out facts. What Cam does in this system has never been done before by any other 5th year player. . . not Aaron Rodgers and definitely not Brees. Brees was almost out of the league at some point around there in his career.

Its like saying I dont know why Nolan Ryan isnt as accurate as Orel Herscheiser.

Do you really enjoy being called stupid this much?

It's seriously pathetic.

Bovine excrement.  Besides the obvious source of your butt hurt, Steve Smith being released , who are the ball catching receivers we have let go???  And don't say Lafell...he couldn't catch a cold in a pediatrician's office...

It would seem Jared Allen has a pro bull named Airtime and that is one of their t-shirts. I couldn't get the website to pull up to officially link to it but type "Airtime Pro Bull" into google and it comes up along with the same pic on that shirt in the image search.

Makes sense.

It's actually a nice pic, regardless.

In regards to the super bowl fumble, people just say it cause they know it bothers people it's kind of funny but just pay it no mind

in regards to the article, this sounds like he's talking about teddy and to a lesser extent KB. Cotchery had a few drops in the super bowl too

in regards to Gettleman, his hands have pretty much been tied by the cap for his first few years he finally has some breathing room. It seems like he likes to build his teams inside out, Oline Dline, Cam, Luke and no he can focus on the "out" part of the equation.

just imagine if Cam had a receiver like Julio to throw to. Getty has some money and he's focused on building his future which will involve HogMolly talent, but with some money I wouldn't be surprised if he brought in a special skills player.

i say bring in all the talent possible, don't get complacent. "If you're not getting better you're getting worse" Letssss Goooooo

Just curious: which OL prospect or prospects would you have had DG bring in instead of Shaq, Funchess, KB, Kony, Star, or KK? I'm assuming you would have drafted a tackle in the 1st or 2nd rounds at some point, so please give us a name of someone that was available when we drafted these 6 players.
