Is Simonson a dirty work blocker type? If so then him.....if not then Dickson.

He's a very good pass catcher.  Not seen much evidence of good blocking ability.

If I'm honest about Dickson, he has never lived up to, the not high expectations, I've had for him. Combine that with how long he has been in the league, I'd be inclined to go with Simonson.

I'd say Dickson, unless his play has fallen off considerably. He has been a good enough backup in a few very successful years.

Very logical and all of the numbers/areas of need are addressed.  If this was the final 53 man roster, I would be happy with it.  I'd hope that guys like Wegher, Byrd, Garrett, etc. wouldn't get plucked by other teams, but it is what it is.

My 2 pennies...... I'd prefer to boot one of the SAF and allow six WRs on the active 53.   I know there's no precedent for RR to do this, but I just think we have too much talent at WR to not activate six.

My inclination would be whoever is the better blocker. At this point, I think what we've already seen from Dickson is all we're going to get out of him. Not exactly a high bar and Simonson could rise over that with enough effort.

Still unsure about the WR's. Considering how high powered the passing game was without KB and a raw Funchess, keeping six is a luxury we don't really need. Personally, I'd like to bring in a free agent Ugly because I fear a return to 2014 O-line performance if we have an injury or related.

On defense, I'm betting we'll take our chances with the secondary and rely on extra bodies up front. If they can provide constant pressure, the rookies will have a much easier job.

Is there any way any of the other TEs like Deaver steal a spot from Dickson and/or Simonson?
