Now dont get me wrong i hope every reciver on the team becomes great.  Not a byrd hater by no means but im of the opinion that what happens on sundays cant be over looked.  Philly is no where near the best receiver on the roster but he plays well when the lights go on.  Do you let him not make the team because you HOPE bryd or hill work out during the season?  Idk.

The major difference between Moss and Hill is that Moss was always a great  and dominant receiver at every level  while Hill has never been a good receiver.

I'm just glad we have plenty of legitimate competition at the WR position. If Hill can play good enough to replace Ginn, that would be great, but I'll believe it when I see it on the field.

Not buying into training camp hype. I still believe once per season comes Garrett will take someone's spot.

I have watched him over the past several weeks and can assure you he is definitely in the mix this year to make the squad.

Garrett is practice squad bound. It is all but a certainty.

I hope Ricky is right. The prospect of a 6'4" guy with that kind of speed is exciting, to say the least.

We could be in store for every coach looking like Bruce Arenas this year. Like Wtf can we do?

The question for me is going to be how is his special teams play and potential as a punt returner. If he wants to make the roster then do it because you can do more than one thing.

Not really sure the past has anything to do with who makes the team. If Hill looks better than Garrett then Garrett will be on the PS even if he gets picked by another team.

Garrett won't last on the PS, so I think it will be Byrd.  They'll keep Byrd quiet with limited snaps in the pre-season so no team will pick him up.  Let him continue to develop and he could end up being Ginn's replacement after this season.

I dont think Garrett makes it onto the roster. We already have length and speed. What can he add to special teams? Probably nothing. While Byrd and Hill can.
