As many know, we have a shaky alliance with the arachnids. Once all of the insects are dead, in a swift act of treachery, we shall turn on them...........we do screen for spiders on this forum, right? If not, long live our peaceful partnership with the great spiders.

As for beneficial insects, get rid of your bug zappers. They kill more of the insects we need than don't. Just let...gulp...let the spiders live and eat the mosquitoes. Only kill the spiders in bed with you.

fug that. When I make my occasional trips to NC, I'm amazed at what treacherous arachnids are out and about.

Spiders freak me out, big time! Yet try to let them live because I know they kill other bugs.

I had a huge garden spider on my house two years ago, like ok my door... It was as big as my hand (it seemed), so I used a broom to gently move it to a bush.
