jake played alright today,no even close to his fault for the lost thoguh.hear are some major points

!.Speacial Teams Blows,Horrible Coverage and Murrnerlyn although good in his limited play is not a threat return wise.(jets leon washignton will have a field day if not fixed)

2.I hate to admit it but it seems like our rbs regressed today two fumbles one very costly.

3.piss poor coaching any fool could see although we were getting gashed through the air our run d was pretty stout,instead of forcing jake into converting a 4th and 10 why not kicked the field goaled then let our d handle the run.I question why our cb's play 10 yards off still this brings up a major point.

4.DO NOT BLAME THE D LINE FOR A NON EXSISTENT PASS RUSH.(fully at least)There will not be a effective pass rush with cb's playing 10 to 12 yeards off wr's and te's.think about it if there's a out or curl route open every 2 seconds after the ball is snapped only jesu could make it there before the ball is thrown,yes there was some plays were matt ryan held onto the ball more then but our piss poor blizt were picked up and some lucky plays by the falcons(julius is blocked by his own teammate who is getting owned).I really don't understand how it's first and goal and yet out db's are lined up 5 yards behind the pylon.....really even if they called a run our cb's would even be in tackling distant by the time the rb reaches the endzone.

Jake was okay, but okay isn't good enough in the NFL which is why we're 0-2!

I can't believe that people are bringing Jake into every fuging one of these threads. Our offense actually outgained the Falcons offense today, geniuses. The defense did a perfectly fine job of sucking all by themselves today.

BTW, for those that are bitching about not blitzing enough, or the right way...blitzes don't work very well, no matter how exotic or well disguised, if the front 4 can't get any pressure at all. Blitzes are designed to enhance the the pressure from the front 4, not to take the place of the front 4. It's all about the players, and we simply don't have enough good ones to man that front 4.
