right now their top three look to be kamar aiken, 37 year old steve smith coming off a torn achilles, and mike wallace.  that might not be all that bad if everything falls the right way.

Besides the goat coming back to Carolina..   Sounds like Ravens have an uphill battle..

I remember when half the huddle wanted him. lol.

Sucks for the kid but he'll have to rebuild and rehabilitate.

So he would have had the same injuries had he been practising in a different city on a different day doing different drills?  That would be a crazy coincidence.

Depends.

Sometimes its just the condition of the knee itself and not the location or the drills.

i read some of smitty's comments today and it seems like he's not sure if he'll be ready to go on opening day himself

“I don’t know when I’m coming back,” Smith said, via ESPN.com. “I just know I have to be able to do something in training camp to be able to play for the season. That’s just the way I operate. I can’t go from doing absolutely nothing [and] sitting on my butt for all of training camp and then go out there and play.”

Somewhat good news...  There is a chance stem cell injection might work and help ACL heal... if not, they will have to totally reconstruct it.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports there's "absolutely" a chance Breshad Perriman (knee surgery) plays in 2016.

Dr. James Andrews determined on Monday that Perriman may not be dealing with a "significant" tear of his left ACL. He will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to determine the extent of the damage. A full reconstruction is still on the table, but Perriman could escape with a relatively minor stem cell injection. It's encouraging news, but Perriman's sophomore campaign is still on the brink. Perriman was hurt catching a fade in last Thursday's practice.
