I smoke wings in my Big Green Egg all the time for my wife. She loves that poo. Ribs too. I don't really eat them cuz I don't much care for food that gets all over my face.

No oven, you cannot grill in the oven... Season with some salt & pepper, a little cayenne perhaps, some Adobo or your favorite seasoning.. Work a 2-zone grill, sear the wings over the heat then move over to the other side, let them cook... Wings are tough to gauge how long because of the varying size of each wing

Good advice. Depending on your preference you can flip around and cook indirect for 20-40 minutes depending on size and then sear to crisp the skin.  Toss in sauce. Eat.

I make my own sauce like so:

Franks Red Hot or extra hot if you like

butter (cuts down heat so to taste)

cayenne pepper to taste

and here is the secret ingredient...

Worcester sauce...just a few splashes. It makes all the difference.

Smoked first is best but I don't usually have the time for that. I deep fry usually for about 10-12 minutes. Then toss in sauce and then put in oven at 200-250 until sauce is dry. I don't like wet wings. Dinosaur BBQ has the best wings I've had after my own. BWW isn't bad especially when watching an event.

You left too much meat on the bone man.  You gotta pick'em clean.

I'd recommend putting them in the oven on low heat before you grill, something like 20-30 mins at 250°

This is the best advice in the thread, especially for a gas grill. You really can't do anything to wings on a grill like that since they're too small. All you can realistically hope to do well is give them some flavor and texture.

If you have any plans on ever not being an embarrassment to your father, invest in a cheap smoker. Smoked wings are god tier and you literally cannot fug them up as long as you do a good sauce.

Dont use some store bought poo like a pleb either. Man up and learn to make your own sauce.

Nothing is manlier than a guy that can dump 100 home smoked wings in front of his bros and assorted bitches.

make your own blue cheese dressing too if you really want to make the panties drop.

The advice to pre-bake them is sound, but the temperature was wrong. Should be at 400 for 20-30 minutes. For the sauce I use a mixture of Texas Pete, Duke's mayo (don't use anything but Duke's), dill relish, and creamy peanut butter. Put the sauce on BEFORE you grill them so it caramelizes.
