Thagomiser Gauntlets for Titans, you get extra melee, and an extra melee buff.

For hunters, the Shinobou's Gauntlets give you an extra skip grenade thing that seeks and is evil.  Both have strong PvP usage.  I put theThagomisers  today.  Handy for clean up kills.

Reminder - Today is the Last Day of Iron Banner!  

Man, I hope y'all had better luck than me!  My rank packages stunk - Y1 Arms (best thing I got), 2 helmets, 2 side arms, and a fusion.  Sadly, no Ghost (that is the best looking Ghost by far!).  I did get 4 auto rifles, 5 shot guns (including one my kid bought, jerk!), the sparrow and 3 butt capes.  Questionable roles throughout.

My thoughts on Supremacy - I think it was still too early to make it an IB.  I can't tell you how many other players on my team would completely by pass crests only to go get killed quickly.  I'd say that probably 1/4 of my games were mercy ruled (I think it was 100/40 something like that), about 1/4 competitive all the way to 150, and the other 1/2 were non-mercy beat downs (mostly me losing).  Like 150/120 kind of games.  Where it was never close after the first few minutes.

I like Supremacy.  Playing it in a regular play list is great.  Folks who choose to play are more fun to play with than everyone running around blindly.  I did most of my work as a Solar and Striker Titan.  Both had their uses.  Next time, I'll run my hunter (skip grenades!).

Any other thoughts?

Does anyone want to try and get together sometime this week and do some strikes?  It would be awesome to try and get some Huddle guys together and start the new raid (Even if light level isn't there).  Just to get some time in on the game.  I've mainly been blasting away at pvp but haven't gotten much to show for it.

lots of ppl were complaining about Supremacy but I like it. I think the key is fusion rifles- if everyone is running shotgun- fusions have a better distance

Man, I do love this grindy, repetitive game!

I was doing some inferno supremacy, which was stupid fun once I figured out the main rule of any objective inferno mode: circle around your dead teammates to get people from behind.  

Hurray for Mayhem - my favorite crucible mode!  Doc sent me a rather ridiculous play which he should totally share here.

Also, today the patch is coming out to push the max light to 400!  Now you can get 385 from Heroic Strike Blue rewards, blue engrams up to 365.  

From This Week at Bungie

Victoria: On October 18th, corresponding with the release of Heroic Mode for Wrath of the Machine, your Maximum Light will be increased to 400. With this increase, many reward sources will also increase their maximum Light. Strike Hoards, Nightfall, Exotic Engrams, Trials of Osiris, Crucible, and Iron Banner will now provide rewards up to 400 Light. Archon’s Forge, the Heroic SIVA Strike playlist, and Legendary Engrams will now provide rewards up to 385 Light. Rare Engrams and the SIVA Strike Playlist will now provide rewards up to 365 Light. The recommended Light for these activities will remain the same with the exception of Nightfall, which will be increased to a recommended light of 380. For those striving to reach Heroic Wrath of the Machine or even attempt their first run at Normal Wrath of the Machine, players should find more paths and options available to them to reach the recommended Light.

For players forging their path through Wrath of the Machine, Trials of Osiris, and Iron Banner, these activities will now attempt to reward higher Light on average, compared to your current Light.

Artifacts and Ghosts were dropping from fewer sources than intended and have been added as Archon’s Forge completion rewards. These items will now drop up to 400 Light. In Faction Packages, the rate at which Ghosts are rewarded has been increased. Likewise, the rate of artifacts from Eris’ Faction Packages have been increased.

Oh man, what a busy f'ing week I've had.  I MISSED MAYHEM!!! =(  Super sad about that!

So on to Festival of the Lost.  Anyone goofing around there?  Hopefully I can get something done sooner or later.  I did pick up the broom sparrow and the shader, but I have got so much other crap going on in my life right now.  It is disappointing that it's difficult to gather more treasures.  I want those Bad Juju ornaments!  But first I have to play!

Anyone do Heroic Mode on the raid?  I just hit 366 last week, maybe I'll try a Normal mode at some point.

I've been doing some of the Festival stuff.  I've only attempted the new raid once.  Only had a group of 4.  Fail City...  My normal group hasn't been playing Destiny as much because of title drops like Gears/BF1 and now Titan Fall 2.  

I've really tired to stay away from other boards to get a raid group together.  I may need to though.
