I did a few games last night and one this morning.  Yesterday, except for once, my teams just got hammered.  Most of my games were like 150 to 70-90.  That's just ugly.  I noticed a poo ton of lag on Day 1.  Like I just shotgunned someone in the face, they kill me, collect my crest then died and their teammate collected their crest!  That was kind of annoying.

This morning, I had a much better game, and there was much less lag, fewer redbars, only saw one warp.  So I guess yesterday I just got unlucky with the lag monster.  I'm also thinking of changing my primary.  I have been using a palindrome that I got from a crucible rank up, but I've noticed a major ghost bullet issue.  I'm thinking of infusing my max stability Hawksaw, though it lacks range.  Or my Nirwens that has near max stability, but better range.  Might do both to 350.

On to the best part: the lewt!  I'm not a fan of the vendor rolled guns, but the armor is interesting (for my Titan).  I'm going to wait until Monday to buy anything from Lady Effrideet.  I got an auto rifle from end of match.  It has small-bore and persistance.  So it might not be horrible.  Right now, the scatter is all horizontal, eww.  I did the help your teamate and ended up getting a helmet upgrade, which was cool.

I like that the four bounties, which only require playing the game, can reward different loot from the vendor and they are light level sensitive!  Maybe if I can play enough, I might get a few light levels out of this event.  I love the look of everything.  The Pulse Rifle and Scout look amazing.  I hope that I can get one of those.

Over all, I'm really happy with this IB.  I just wish I was over 365 so I could complete with the 380+ crowd better.  Anyone else having a good time?

I roll with a group of 5, so while we didn't necessarily dominate, we were playing in some very close matches.  If we lost, we only lost by 20 or less.  I went up two light levels last night; from 357 to 359.  I'm almost at Iron Rank 4.  I feel like ranking up in this tournament is a lot easier than in tournament's past.  A few of my friends have already reached Rank 5.

Yeah, the made it so you could rank up quickly, use the four bounties for light dependent gear, and basically just have fun.  While it's an end game activity, it's just meant to be fun.  It really helps those of us who can't play 24/7 like a streamer or youtuber to actually get sweet gear and higher light items.

I've almost reached rank 5 in IB.  I've gotten some sweet armor and weapons.  Most of which has helped me get to 356.  Looking to hit 5 sooner than later.  I really need to hit up Archons forge for the bounties.  

The supremacy game mode is new to me so it takes some getting used to.  Still really enjoying this expansion.

Man that stinks! =(  Hopefully you can get past those two fairly quickly next time.

I've spoiled the heck out of the raid for myself because I know I'll have very few opportunities to play it.  I still have never finished Kings Fall...

This raid looks like a lot of fun.  Over all, I feel like Bungie did a really good job of ensuring that the game is at it's roots, fun and rewarding.  Though my IB RNG has SUCKED, I see my team mates getting Legendary drops more than 50% of the time.  I'm just waiting for mine....Bound to happen...

That's the way it is on the raid front: there are a poo ton of exotic chests, you can get multiple drops, and you'll be constantly upgrading your light.  One day I'll get past 355...sheesh, then I'll try some reindeer games!

So, the servers went down at 10:45, followed by Xbox Live services shortly after.  All six of us kept spamming to try and get back in.  We finally all made it back in around 12:45.  I probably spent too much time trying to get back in, but with a wife and job, I had to complete the raid tonight ha.  We were lucky that it dropped us in right after the monitor boss...we beat him like two minutes before the servers went down.  Starting playing again around 1:30 and finished at 3 this morning.  I'm tired as hell right now and I have a double header in softball tonight, but I'm glad I got it done.

Mad props for the dedication!  I wish I could do that again.  I used to be able to game all night, up at 5 for work and work all day...  I'm too old for that poo! =)
