Its OK. The exotic quests, SRL (private matches), and  heard that the dawning treasures are replacing radiant treasures, so it will still be there.

I've enjoyed what I've played. I really enjoy strike scoring. Now randos want to play! So that's awesome.

Who wants to compare thier terrible IB RNG?

Four packages:  Helmet, Artifact, Two Snipers...ugh!  

Post Match:  1 sidearm, 2 arms, 2 chest, 2 more artifacts...  NO ROCKETS! =(

I'm so envious of people who get those God rolls.  Or even good weapons...

Sadly, been busy so only one character to IB with this week.  Though I did finish my crucible bounty =)  I just need one more match win to get rank 4 to buy the vendor rocket launcher.

Anyone else have any luck?  I noticed my quality of games wasn't near as good.  Like I get shot 1 from a pulse rifle and died.  Or I land 5 MIDA headshots into a guy...  Or other instances where bullets aren't landing.  Sheesh, I think I'm going to do some raids and hang it up until the next content comes out in the spring.

I hate to say it but I haven't played Destiny in quite sometime.  I think about picking it up every so often; then I play Gears.

LOL, I know what you mean.  I still enjoy it.  But I see the wall in front of me:  the Raid.  I want to get it done, I really need to get it done on normal mode a few times to ensure I get the necessary guns, but no one runs the raid.  Even though I'm 390 now (yay IB), I've not had much luck getting anyone together at like 9:30 our time.

I'm going to screw around in PVP me thinks and come around for IB and what not, but I think I'll get to work on Titanfall and finish up Mass Effect.

Destiny - No, it's not dead!

So yesterday was the first of three reveal streams for the Age of Triumph.  The nitty gritty:

1. All raids are being updated to 390 light

2. Crota's End has been reworked

3. CE and VoG will have two challenge modes

4.  All raid armor will have ornament slots, and they are pretty amazing looking from what I've seen thus far.

5.  You get a 13 page record book.  If you played a lot, you'll end up with about half or less filled already.  You need to do about 75% to "finish" the book for the final reward.  It's another tee shirt discount.

6.  Vex Mythoclast is coming back!  Pretty sure elemental primaries are as well.  I'm excited about some of those old guns!

That's the big major stuff from this reveal.  I'm looking forward to doing all the old raids again, and actually finishing some of them...

For Destiny 2, you won't be carrying your loot.  They have left it kind of vague about if any of this new stuff is going to carry, but they did say in the last TWAB that they would recognize your status as a D1 player in D2.

I'll update this thread after the next TWAB tomorrow and whatever comes out of the next stream because I'm a super Destiny nerd....Super...

So a little teaser came out with something interesting for the coming week's stream:

Brightday Strikes - adding a little "mayhem" to strikes....if this is a nighfall tier strike with super fast ability and super regen...OMG this could be so ridiculously fun!  Looking forward to more info this Wednesday!

So reveal stream came and went, and they most talked about the raids and events.

• Looks like many of the year 1 raid weapons are coming back.  There are new ornaments for the Vex and many of the other raid guns, including the Skolas guns!
• All raids and Challenge of the Elders are getting a 390 mode with challenges.
• The Weekly Raid will have both Challenge Modes Enabled.
• Age of Triumph starts a 12 step quest with the Speaker.
• Each week, there will be a Weekly Heroic Story Playlist where you can earn 100 Marks a week.
• Shaxx will give TWO weekly crucible bounties!
• Silver Store:  All Silver Dust/items are open, you can earn the items in "Treasures of the Ages" which you can get via PVP, Heroic Stories and Strikes.  Expect to be flooded with Silver Items and the ability to buy stuff with the dust.
• Daybreak Strikes are a Nightfall Strikes with Mayhem modifiers...should be a hoot!
• There will be a specific Ages of Triumph armor set you can get through the Treasure of the Ages.

So looks like there's a lot of fun stuff to do, and you won't have to spend any money for treasure boxes with the ability to earn 3 a week.  I'm really looking forward to April!

Today was the final stream about raid gear and sandbox updates, I'm linking the post with the pictures, but also giving some of my feedback.

First off, the ornament look amazing!  They showed how when you shoot someone, the ornaments will rebuild.  It will be interesting to see how it functions in game.

Raid guns are coming back, but two versions:  regular (non elemental) and adept (elemental).  Adept guns only available during the featured weekly raid.  I'm going to go on a limb and say they will probably be part of the challenge mode rewards.

All live next Tuesday!  I'll see y'all next Saturday, it's show week for me!  Needless to say, I'm so excited!
