We all knew this was coming.. but still needs to be reported i guess..

He will be #2 or #3 on our FA list behind Batum (which I'm hearing will get done as soon as FA opens) and possible our hole at the Center position.. If we can sign Batum, then quickly get Lin back and still have enough for a max player - you can bet we getting a rebounding/shot blocking center

This would be best case scenario for sure. To resign Lin and Batum and a Howard/Whiteside type might put us in the ECF. Especially if MKG can stay healthy. Now if we could draft someone who isn't a PF...

We would have to waive bu-bye the Courtney Lee for sure - Marvin might come back on the hometown discount, maybe.. but if we were able to get Batum, Lin and Howard - there ain't no "Might be in the ECF" = We in there for sure!

Bruh, we be in there like swimwear.

With the way he played and the expected jump in salary cap, it makes no sense for him to opt in. I don't think this means he doesn't want back but knows his market value. He truly deserves more than $2.2 million.

To be honest, I would like to keep Batum and Marvin and draft a PG.

It is absolutely crucial that Lin is re-signed. He covers up for some ball movement deficiencies of the 1st and 2nd string units.

Depends on what he's demanding.  He could probably get 7.5 to 8 million per year on the market.
