This. Our receivers aren't great. We have a 1 (IF he comes back as good as 2013), and a ton of 3's. Not really a problem. Seattle and New England have been doing just fine with similar talent, while Calvins team keeps missing the playoffs.

Main two things I attribute to our #1 offense...

1: 30.53 - Offense average starting field position (Ranked 2nd)

2: .196 - Defense turnovers per drive (Ranked 1st)

The #1 factor was the NFL MVP

Haven't read the thread yet.... but it's funny, I'd been listening to a Carly SImon song yesterday evening, so the immediate response in my head is this one:

"Nobody does it better, makes me feel sad for the rest"

Yup.

Update:  I see Jangler beat me to it...!

Panthers are among the top at QB, RB, FB, TE, and C when it comes to their starters (all possibly top 100 players).

It is the OG, OT, and WR positions that the Panthers are middle of the pack at best. Several teams with better OTs and WRs no question.

The Panthers struggled terribly with their back up running backs, OTs, and WRs in their 2 losses last season.

OG????!!!!!????!!!

Tell Turner & Norwell that to their faces!

And seriously, Turner was probowl.  And not that PFF means much, but both Turner & Norwell were ranked among the top 10 guards in the league. (Turner #7 and Norwell #8, and both made PFF's list of the top 100 players in the league for 2015.)

We've got one of the strongest interior Olines in the league.

look at how he split the positions

guess who drafted/signed everyone on the "good" list

now check who drafted/signed everyone on the "bad" list
