Like Mr Scot, I watched a lot of boxing in the 69-79 years.

Nothing could rival the era of Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton, Shavers, etc.  Most of the guys could put a hole through a wall with a punch, very strong.  Ali was by far the fastest set of hands in boxing.  His right cross took the knees out from under many boxers.

The Cosell/ Ali stuff was always entertaining.

There were also a lot of good boxers in other weight divisions, Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns, etc.

RIP to the best pure boxer I ever watched.
