I remember one of the first times I watched Emmitt Smith, I thought to myself "He's not that fast. How is he getting these yards?"

I only later came to realize that he was actually running faster than he looked because he ran so smooth.

I'd seen some other running backs look like they were straining every single muscle in their body. But Emmitt's motion was fluid. He made it look easy.

Now don't take it to mean that I'm calling Brandon Wegher the next Emmitt Smith for some silliness like that, but I will say I see some of the same fluidity and smooth motion in the way that Wegher runs.
