I retire after 21 years of service on Wednesday. I can't say I'm sad to go but in a way I am. Today is the day to remember all those that gave all. Happy to have served with some of them.

Is that like wishing "Happy Father's Day" to single mothers? Yes, there are sacrifices made by a lot of people in this country, but that's not what this particular day is about.
