o i see. whatever u say. even though i know good and well dont didn't remember he made the pro bowl in 2005, but that doesn't even matter. Jake did not lose this game today. doesn't matter what anyone says. doesn't matter who the QB in todays game if the D can't make stops. Proof: Drew Brees last year throws for 5000+ yds, but his team goes 8-8 because their defense was horrible.

Jake played well under the circumstances. He had a good game plan and found the open man most of the time. His 4th down interception while annoying wasn't really an issue. After all unless we complete it, it was going over anyway. At least Jake put Smitty in a position to fight for the ball. Smitty lost focus again and didn't attack the ball like he usually does.

But the offense brought it today and had a good outing. Truth is we couldn't get Atlanta's offense off the field. I hate the bend don't break philosophy.

He threw a game-losing interception. He sure is back in full-force!

yep.... so what if he doesn't throw 5 int's...... its the one that hurts the most that still costs the game! when we need a big play, he ONLY looks to smith and forces the ball into coverage. he NEVER goes through his progressions. he had king wide open on the other side of the field.

it doesn't always take 5 bad decisions to lose a game, it can be lost on one.

I'm not posting a lot today, and picked this thread because it had the best title.

Jake looked good, and anyone who thinks other wise is judging his performance based on past games. A lot of that is because the line held their blocks like they should.

Also Smith was great at finding soft spots in the zone and getting YAC. Whoever started that thread saying that he is losing his step....that's laughable.

The D was the obvious weakness. They just couldn't get off the field at all except when they got the two turnovers. I really don't like what I'm seeing, and it seems the injury bug is making things worse.
