We choose some really bad culinary items to make sacred as Southerners. We have really good options but why Sweet tea, Krispy Kreme, and Dukes? They are all sub par to disgusting.

Don't forget the Carolina Classic chili and slaw on a burger or dog

No, people take their mayonnaise brands seriously.

Now Texas Pete is a worthy obsession. As is Bojangles and Cheerwine and Neeses Sausage.

Steak egg and cheese. All day, errrday. Not on the menu, but they WILL do it.

When you wanna be healthy - steak biscuit w/ side of sausage gravy

For when you don't wanna be healthy - Steak, egg and cheese w/ side sausage gravy

See what I'm saying. We really get that attached to fuging mayonnaise. How can we be taken seriously?

Northern states have the same random cheap things that they pretend to be really passionate about. White castle, shake shack, that chili in Ohio...

    • That should count for 2 TDs.  His hands were bad coming out of college--and they have improved.  I was a TE in college, and to me, the toughest catches were the ones that were coming straight towards you.  I would rather catch running and looking over one shoulder when you have a dominant hand in the process.  In fairness, others liked catching passes with their thumbs together in their chest.  I dunno.
