Comfortable with running backs?

Not okay and expressed so before the draft. Stewart is prone to injury and Fozzy is good in spurts but not a starter. CAP has fumbling issues and Wegher is a mystery really.

People need to stop with the fumbling issues thing. Sure he fumbled once as a pro (yes, only once, and he was lucky enough to recover it), but he never had any issue in college.

Like it or not. U have to count Cam as part of the run game. With him and our rbs, i am comfortable.

You are very right and that was part of why the ?    Newton takes a lot of hits

Stewart is 30 and just feel there is no speed in that backfield and speed kills in this league. A really  quick back that Newton could shuttle to, flare to, have a delay called or even a quick hitter would help a lot and the Panthers don't have that to my mind. To me, and no offense to anyone, in my opinion it's the weakest link on a team that prides itself in running.  Just thought they'd go for a more speed.  I just look at all those ends collapsing on Newton and that quick back to pitch to would help a lot

I'm fine with  our RBs. CAP cuts out the fumbles and he's a young Stew. Fozzy is serviceable. Wegher is unproven but could be solid. Time will tell, and I think we take a rb in the first three rounds if the value is there next year. For this season, we'll be ok. With KB back and our other guys playing pretty well last season, teams won't be able to stack the box on us as much.

@raleigh-panther you keep mentioning speed, but I already mentioned that Wegher is extremely fast.

You must not put a lot of stock in Whether. I can't say that I am surprised, but you have to let things play out. He could be a flop, or he might be the most complete young back on the roster if he has developed some blocking skills.

I am relatively comfortable.  Relative in that our running backs are mostly known quantities or in the case of Cap and Wegher  have shown some potential.  But anyone we draft would be an unknown.  And there really aren't any free agents that are very interesting.

Also, need to cut out this CAP fumbles a lot rubbish.  He fumbled once in over a hundred carries combining preseason, season and post season numbers.  That is not a lot.  But he doesn't have enough carries to get an accurate read.

And several bobbles of the ball. Stat I believe does not cover that or ones he lost and the team recovered. Could be wrong....

Bobbles? Don't remember those.  Up to you to prove it.

And fumbles are counted as fumbles whichever team recovers the ball.  He had ONE.

1.

Uno.
