I never thought that I would be in the fire Fox camp, because I think that he is a good coach, but I think this his time in Charlotte is about up.....and I hope that Meek's and Crossman's sorry asses are gone by Week 4.

Delhomme is fine, if he gets enough time he makes plays. Or are you not watching the game? Meeks and Fox are the problem. Special Teams is not doing their best either.

I don't see how anyone can defend Jake at this point. His passes are either overthrown, underthrown, behind the receiver, or are ducks waiting to be picked. He's done a lot for Carolina, but he just isn't all there anymore.

I am NOT a fan of meeks. I always wonder why Meeks is coordinating our defense to 'fly' to the ball, however our defensive build is not built for that. So what do you see? Our guys flying into each other, hitting more of each other instead of the opponent, not thinking about making the tackle.

Fwiw, I think the defense has shown some improvement, starting with the Dallas game. In fact, by the end of the season, it could be the best defense we have had since 05.

But in the NFL in this day and age, if you can't pass efficiently, you can't win consistently.

I will assume this is a serious question. If you talk player-wise I am a fan of Steve Smith, but who isn't? Love his tenacity. My avatar is my favorite DeAngelo Williams! I wear his jersey to every game. I love his personality as well as of course, his skills as a panther. He has heart, and he acts like it too if you read about him and listen to him talk. He plays hard no matter what the score is, and how he talks about football is more like a way of life then a game, he seems humble. I was also fan of Stephen Davis but more for a player than a person and player like Williams, I am a fan of Stewart but more for the same reason of Davis.

But those are the greats.... lately I really like Jeff King I think he is excellent and really tough to bring down. He reminds me of a Shockey or Whitten. I also like Rosario, even though he dropped a few last game he is really solid and I think he has great hands and should be worked on more, and thrown to more, along with King, who also has awesome hands. The O-line is alright but lacks experience.

On defense my main man is Gamble, I love a great corners and Gamble is not the greatest but he is quick and consistent for sure an above average corner. I like Davis and Beason but who doesn't...lately I am loving what I see from Everette Brown our pick. I think he is a fine addition to our team. We snuck in a good one, I know it.

Unfortunately he is injured but be watching him in the future. which reminds me of another pick I thought we got away with, Mike Goodson, also injured. He scares me though, he is very body-sacrificial if that's even a word (probably why he is injured). But he'll risk it all for yards, he's got the heart. I think he is also an excellent edition to the team. Another nice addition to the team's defense (also injured) was Leonard....

If you want a more controversial theme, get this I don't blame Fox for our mistakes. I like Fox, I think Meeks, and Delhomme are the problems. But I wont get into that we all have our opinions about what needs to be changed, but non are really all that valid until the season is over and we just see what happens.

There is a brief summary of what I like. This is somewhat current and can go one for years about different players.

Very true DDII. It appears Fox is letting Meeks do his thing on defense and the results are encouraging.

I'm actually starting to ease up on Fox a little since the last two games. I'm not sure if that's a good thing b/c I still think the man is way too conservative, especially on offense and I'm sure its just a matter of time before the bend-don't-break defense playcalling rears its ugly head. I don't even want to get started on our (not so) special teams play. I'd be ok with a change if it means a major improvement in all phases of our play. However, with Jake under center it probably explains why we're so sporadic on offense. Whether Fox stays or goes, this much is absolutely clear: the Panther MUST get a new QB in the offseason. Jake appears to have lost the minimal skills he had to begin with, and being one-dimensional gets you nowhere in today's NFL. Better playcalling wouldn't hurt, either.
