Fug it, trade it and whatever and get Biz back. Al is old Hornets and with the new identity Biz fits in well........why.......oh why..........screw whoever complains about Biz not begin able not to score or have handles because no one can deny his rebounding and shot blocking........Hornets just being themselves......Biz would have dominated in our scheme and I am not an expert at all in basketball, I barely know positions.

Sure, but you're going to have to explain why Lin, Lee, Marvin and the rest of our depth is going away so we can spend a truckload on a guy who has never been more than a backup.

Good grief if these are the threads for Bismack Biyombo the Josh Norman threads this fall are going to be a doozy.

Yeah we screwed up when we allowed him to go and probability of ever getting him back is nihl.

How? For all we know, this is a Ted Ginn/Panthers situation: A career backup that occasionally shows flashes of his potential in the right system but also shows why he is a backup. There's a reason why when he hit the market he ended up with a modest deal, similar to what we gave Lin (ironically, who we gave up Biz to sign.)

Lin is an appropriate comparison here, too. This year he single handedly won us games against the Spurs and Cavs, but also had some games where he looked like a d-league player. He was nice to have, no doubt, but nobody is starting him over a healthy Kemba, just like Biz wouldn't start over healthy Valanciunas.

Biz did not fit here and wasn't going to fit here. Period. Steve Clifford's system requires a player in the post with some discernable offensive skill to move the ball to shooters around the perimeter. Al and Hawes are frustrating to watch (and I would prefer to move on from Al in particular,) but they can move the ball around and open things up for shooters.

Folks are focusing way too much on what Biz is doing in single games in Toronto without putting it in the context of this Hornets team. This team was top ten in both offensive and defensive efficiency, accumulated 48 wins, 3 playoff victories, and did it without MKG and Biz.

I know nothing about basketball except for watching lol

Al and his defense, that old flat-footed man is painful to watch as a limping old Tim Duncan with a knee brace. We needed low post defense which was painful obvious in the playoffs.

I think Biz playing the way he is right now is indicative of our lack of good coaching staff that can develop players honestly.  Also Clifford's rotations never really gave him the time he needed.   His reliance on vets as well.   I mean Maxwell took Biz's minutes for half a season, come on.    It's like everyone BUT the team realized he was like 22 years old and was a project.   This team sure could have used Biz's energy and post defense in the playoffs.  In fact, I feel pretty comfortable that we would have beat Miami.

I really fear that Clifford is the John Fox of the NBA honestly.

What tall white guys are available at this spot?

I want to know, so I can make bets.

stephen zimmerman out of UNLV sounds like our sort of pick.

for me, one of these four (if they were all to fall to us at #22);

Wade Baldwin

Tyler Ulis

Malik Beasley

Timothe Luwawu

If their all taken (which there's a good chance they are), Brogdon looks good and fills a need for us on the wing - i think we could lose Lin/Lee to FA and i've seen reports suggesting trading away jeremy lamb.
