So to get the evolutions you want with Eve, name them one of the following before evolving them.

Sparky = Jolteon

Rainer = Vaporeon

Pyro = Flareon

its a throw back to the Evee Brothers from the Cartoon show, heard from a few different places that this works, havent tried it myself yet but will soon as I catch another evee.

So once you hit level 20 or so, you must start seeing lapras.  Seeing them in gyms all over the place, CP approaching 2000.

I haven't seen one and I'm almost 23.   People may have hatched them, I'm not sure, or were at the beach or somewhere to grab, who knows

The Evee trick worked the first time I made a Sparky, after that, it hasn't.

I tried a 2nd and it gave me a Vaperon, not too bad, he was 1650, which I have at this point powered up to CP1846 and can't do anymore till I level up to 23 lol.

Naming an Eevee "Pyro" worked for me. Thanks brochachos.

Caught a 1756 Exeggutor while waiting for Ghostbusters last night. Nice.

Nice catch.  I was reading that they get to one of the highest CP at 30 (like close to 3k).    It's kind of annoying that stuff I'm evolving even at 22 could have way more potential when found at like, lvl30, but that's how it goes with this.  I may just power level Vaporean each time I level and not the others and just wait for high evolves later on.

This has a very high success rate. Worked for me getting a vaporeon. Failed on my girlfriend the first try at a jolteon, but worked the second time. Everybody else I know said it worked for them as well.

Yeah it's not 100% but it helps.   

I have to get back to being disciplined on evolves lol.  After level 20 I stopped waiting for egg.   Going to try to be better now and favorite things as they become evolve-able to keep track.
