Yeah give it about 8-10 seconds then force close.   That gives the game some time to maybe register it as a catch.   Low CP's you usually can catch even if freeze, others maybe not but you can try again if they are there.  However, most think this crash is usually to either you are going to catch it or it runs (mostly seems to run) and it's gone.

Sadly, I have noticed that I can no longer catch low CP Pokémon as easily now that my own level has gone up over 10. I sometimes throw 3-5 balls at a sub 50 CP Pidgey. Doesn't make any sense. Pokémon jump over, attack during, and dodge my attempts with a higher frequency regardless of their level.

For some reason the Game is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S5. Not even available in the play store. I have the compatible version of Android as well. It is wierd. Cannot find an explanation for it any where. I tried to install it via APK, but it caused my phone to crash. Oh well.

Park near my work is Magmar heaven.  Just walked down there and got a 1055 and a 895 Magmar.  Went back to my desk lol.

Meh. Losing interest.

Level 19. 59 off the Pokedex, 460 total. Use a 1313 Vaporeon as my gym machine. Three gold medals. Can play from my couch.

What's left to do other than catch uber rares?

Level up, there are pokemon out there 2k or more CP.   They'll have trading too soon.    You may find a lot of stuff at your location, but others may not, you can trade eventually for what you need, etc.   There will definitely be a bit of a lull for people that push through like us, I'm half way to 20 myself.   But I enjoy catching junk to get stardust to upgrade my junk.

True. OR I'm just sour my gf got Pikachu and I didn't. Yesterday in bed after we woke up. There pops up Pikachu on our radars. She gets him in 3 tries. On my 5th try my game froze.

My wife's first Pokemon was Pikachu. We were driving as we installed the game and i guess with the car moving the game thought she was running away from the three others so he showed up. As we stopped at a light down the street, Raichu shows up. Her first two pokemon were Pikachu and Raichu. I hate her.

Imagine how amazing this would be if it didn't freeze every 3rd ball throw, or the GPS didn't break and think you're 3 blocks over?

I still think the chance of catching certain pokemon in certain areas is just too slim. I get you cant catch snakes in city ares but I havent seen anything but rats and pidgies for hours on end gets a bit dry. Also not having combat other than gyms really limits how much you can play unless you're out and about. Needs a few different game modes and some tweaks to the spawn rules. Plus obviously fixing the drop problems, but think those are server and volume related so they'll sort out soon.

It's a social game. The more trainers near you the more Pokemon will appear.

This game needs to give everyone like unlimited poke balls for 2 weeks after all the crap we've had to deal with honestly.  Server issues, freezes, the curve balls out of nowhere.

I've gotten about 5 snakes. I'm about city as it gets. Ekans sucks though, you don't want him anyway.
