I don't think you can get a complete sense of just how fast they are or how much ground these guys cover unless you see them in person.

TV and Internet just can't convey what you can see with your eyes up close.

QFT

The first NFL game I saw live Moose broke open deep downfield and Jake reared back and chucked one like he was trying to throw it out of the stadium. I devastated. I just knew we'd missed a gimme because Jake had overthrown him by a mile. Moose had to damn near come to a full stop waiting on the ball to get there. NFL players are FAST. Even a guy like Moose who was far from a burner.

BTW, that was the game vs. the Eagles in the' 03 regular season. We lost by 9. Kasey missed 3 FGs and an XP.

I remember a Philadelphia newspaper making fun of Kasay right before the NFC championship game that year.

Kinda backfired on 'em.

Sorry... a bit off topic... but can I just repeat how good and right it is to finally see "Pro Bowl linebacker Thomas Davis"....!!

That honor was so overdue!

Amen to that

Also, TE Jake McGee did not come out for practice #2 after icing his hamstring in practice #1, and WR Jenson Stoshak has returned for practice #2 after a foot/ankle injury in practice #1, per Voth at BBR

Cash is too damn small to be playing LB in the NFL. He will get trucked. Hopefully this is just an evaluation and they move him to SS. He is 20lbs lighter than our lightest LB. He looks tiny in comparison.

That is true.  I prefer the 535 section so I can watch the entire play develop.  It's a choreographed masterpiece when it comes together.

What is the difference between him making a tackle as an LB or a Safety? Does his position effect him getting trucked by a receiver or running back?

Cash can tackle so no. As a S however he'll take on lineman less of the time
