How about we act like NFL.com (which is already posting articles with their thoughts on Offensive & Defensive Rookies of the Year) and vote on the 2016 Rookie MiniCamp MVP before it even starts?  LOL.

I've got Stoshak and Sanchez. Don't think they are the best but they are best equipped to make flash plays to stand out in the rookie camp format.

Well, he will have a shot. If he has what it takes for at least the practice squad it will show on Friday and Saturday, espescially when he is matched up against tryout DB's.

Will also be interesting to see him against the drafted corners.

Well, lest we forget, we've already seen him take Zack Sanchez's lunch money (FWIW).

Wasn't Sanchez playing on the outside in those highlights? I doubt he will be matched up much with Garrett but who knows.

Now... Bradberry and Worley against Garret will be pretty tense.

Certainly the advantage for rookie camp MVP is likely to go to a WR or CB.  They're the players that get the most opportunity to flash in such a situation.  Someone like Butler may be the most talented rookie, but we won't get to see it until TC with the pads on and contact allowed.

I'm routing for some really good WR - CB battles this weekend and throughout the offseason.  We need to get our rookie CBs trained up fast.

Yes, but I feel like Garrett is going to have to prove himself in the slot if he wants to have the best chance to make the roster so I imagine he will get put inside at least a few times this weekend. KB, Funch, Ginn and Philly are really outside WRs. So are Hill and Norwood. Philly ideally fits into the slot but he seems to do his best work on the outside and I think we should put Funchess in the slot but that hasn't really happened yet nor has the team shown really any inclination to do so.

Now that Cotchery is gone, Bersin is the most accomplished slot WR we have. Now, I don't think that means Bersin makes the team as we would more than likely square peg-round hole the slot position instead but if Garrett wants to make the roster and even get significant playing time he can go a long way to doing so by going out and balling from the slot position in mini camps. Philly and Norwood should probably be working on doing the same for when vet minicamp starts.
