2nd Wave Free Agency Starts May 12th

On May 12th, veterans signed will not count toward compensatory pick status. This will open a second wave of free agency as teams fill holes in their roster.

Players such as Leon Hall, Anquan Boldin, and Greg Hardy, still top the FA chart.

Players still available: http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/nfl/59572/309/2016-nfl-free-agent-list

The Panther's still have room and money to sign FAs.  Do you predict any moves?

I think a vet c/b ......doesn't have to be flashy....just good habits.....like winning.  Maybe same for safety?

Hardy might as well have committed murder in the eyes of JR. He's not coming back, but it is funny when people suggest we're getting him.

I'll take it a step further. Hardy's actions and personality will keep him out of the league altogether. I don't think he plays another down for the NFL.

Hardy may be in danger of being tarred and feathered by JR and his person security team if he ever returns to Charlotte for any reason.

No tar, no feather, just a season opening road win over a division rival with a backup QB.  WE are hypocritical as hell at this point by shunning him after we LET HIM PLAY.

CB?  No.  When we drafted 3, with Bene on the roster, I would say "no vacancy"  We are not creating competition for our developing talent--Gettlemen learned that with Allen over Ealy.

DE?  I think we like our situation, with 6 competing for 4 spots--Johnson, Ealy, Addison, and three young guys.

S?  I expect an addition at S before camp starts.

WR? I doubt it.  We have 4 that seem locks, with about 5 guys competing for 1 or 2 roster spots.  I doubt we clog the pipeline and take a veteran.

OT:? Yes.  We will sign a T before camp.  One of these?  maybe.

RB?  Possibly, but not likely.

I noticed that all of the punters are gone.

for the 2nd wave of FA starting today May 12th, here is a list of guys I believe we should target for depth/camp invite:

Safety Bacarri Rambo age 25: 6'0 211 2015 Team Bills : 62 total tackles 1 sack 2 forced fumbles 1 INT

Guard Louis Vasquez age 29 : 6'5 335 2015 Team Broncos: Road-Grader "Hog Molly" possible depth.

yes, I know he's 36 but I'd love to see Dwight Freeney come to camp

Also, I liked James Ihedigbo in 2014 before he signed a big contract with Detroit.  He lost his starting job last year so SS vet min?
