Everybody Delaire is only 15 to 20lbs and a offseason from a full time starter size and weight and not just a specialist.. He's 6'4 264 now.

He has to do a lot more than just gain weight to become a starting DE. If it was only that simple.

Now imagine a 6'1" CB with 33 3/8 wingspan, partnered with a 6'1" CB with the same wingspan.

Now imagine a 6'5 240lb WR with 34 7/8" wingspan, partnered with a 6'4" 232 lb WR with a 33 3/8" wingspan

Now imagine a 6'5" 255 lb TE, partnered with a 6'4" 253 lb TE with 34 1/4" wingspan.

Now imagine a 6'5" 250lb QB to lead that team.

I'd hate to pay for those groceries.

Just saying, Butler won't be anywhere near KK's level right away. And if he is that'd be one of the best picks in the last decade for him to start out so well. I'm extremely excited about Butler and think he'll certainly boost our pass rush, but he won't be on KK's level this year.

Nobody should have expectations of butler being on KK's level as a rookie. Vernon Butler only needs to be an upgrade to Colin Cole and Dwan Edwards as a rookie. I will be shocked if he does not exceed these expectations. Vernon Butler has a great deal of upside and I look forward to witnessing his growth.

Alright, I'll be that guy.

Did our team turn into T-Rex's because those are some tiny wingspans?

;)

Of course.. the point was ppl are putting him in a pass rush specialist category .. when he has the body type to be a everydown player..
