The reveal trailer for what most people thought was going to be Battlefield 5 was released today. Going back to World War 1.

Pretty excited about this actually.  It will be interesting to see how it's implemented since it's WW1.  With COD and now this, I probably won't see outside during November except on Sundays.

It actually looks pretty fun. I know most, if not all, of the footage they showed was from campaign, and cinematic moments in their game to make it look awesome, but even a sliver of those graphics are better than some of the games we see these days and a next generation game finally surfaces.

LOVE the throwback shooters much more so than the newer guns.

I will be picking this up...once I get rid of the PS3 and upgrade.

Can we all agree that the naming conventions in the gaming community right now are awful?  Xbox one, battlefield 1, Madden 25 -> Madden 16, hell even Infinite Warfare is a bad name.

I've been hankering for a return to the old school shooters for a long time, but the trailer concerns me a bit. My issue is . well.. It looks a whole lot like a Battlefield game. My idea of a WW1 game was always of a trench warfare type game in the mud and the browns and blacks and mustard yellows covering the screen. This looks like your standard Battlefield fare, right down to the out of place techno, which has never been my personal taste. I'm definitely going to have to keep a close eye on it at E3. I really want to like it.

Pretty bad experience so far in the beta.  All due to connectivity issues.  The game itself when I can play is fantastic.  Once the connectivity issues get resolved hopefully I can actually play enough to get a feel for it.

I'm really looking forward to playing Civ 6 too but that may have to be put on the back burner for a while.
