Graham Gano reveals he rejected Man United as a youth

Recommended Posts

I am a Man U fan..interesting he would turn them down as they are an elite club..or they could have turned him down as he didn't develop his skills enough to be on the team.. but nothing to take away he helped us out for the most part..He had some huge shoes and loyalty to fill... John Kasay was the man

You can't be a Panthers fan and a Manchester United fan.

Those contacts are all in tickets, in theory schooling is included but in reality it is twice a week (for 16year olds). So that soccer career better work out (and you better not get hurt) or you are not sitting pretty.

I'm not surprised he turned it down.

There was a far greater chance that he would have made it as a footballer,  (wouldn't have bad to necessarily make it at United to become a successful football player) as opposed to becoming one of 32 kickers in the nfl so fair play for making that brave decision.  Definitely the right one.  I'm a Manchester United fan also

I dont know man.  As an adult it seems like it would be a fun and great source of cardio.  I run everyday and am all for playing pickup bball as an alternative.  I would be open for some soccer but dont know shhh about it.

On a side note I hate playing at Fing gyms where some dickhole calls next.  It should be whoever is waiting shoots free throws to get in.  Calling next is such garbage.  Ruins pickup bball for me.
