Fozzy is not getting more than the minimum so contract really isn't an issue. Fozzy is 27 and the other two are 23ish so age should be a factor. Take the younger guy if the bottom two are equal.

Just FYI, neither Wegher or CAP are that young even though we signed both last year.  Both came to the team as older rookies:

34 Artis-Payne, Cameron RB 5-10 220 25 2 Auburn
28 Stewart, Jonathan RB 5-10 235 29 9 Oregon
32 Wegher, Brandon RB 5-10        215 25 2                            Morningside College
43 Whittaker, Fozzy RB       5-10 205          27             4 Texas

Fozzy is 27, CAP will be 26 before the season starts and Wegher turns 26 during the year. I don't really see age as a factor.

Thats true. It's more than money, it's control. 2 more years at bare minimum, this is after the panthers wavie stew next year too.

CAP needs to fix his fumbling issues. Turnovers can kill a game. If it wasn't for Tolbert's fumble recovery at the beginning of the playoff game vs seattle, the whole momentum could have turned..

Or his fumble in the Superbowl where momentum DID turn.

Cap & BW ....

I like fozzy and all that but he aint taking nothing to the house unless its a screen. He's a returner but he's just average or below in that area IMHO... with KB coming back, we might end up putting Brown back there. Foz is the best at blocking between the three.

It was just preseason and against scrubs but Brandon is a unique one. Payne has elite patience...We didn't chance Wegher on the PS, we put him on the 53..all year.. Gman is a future guy .... Wegher isnt going anywhere. Fozzy has hit his ceiling whereas the other two are still getting their feet wet.
