garett also abused william jackson as well , no clue how he went undrafted i have high hopes for him

Kind of confusing too. We shall see, but I think he'll end up being our biggest steal. I think Sanchez in this system as long as he learn to not gamble over and over, will shine too

Wow. Sanchez has a lot of bad tape. Doesn't seem to offer much at all in the way of run support, and he gambles way too much defending the pass.

Tbh lots of corners have bad tape against Garrett. William Jackson III for example had a bad game against him. However, Sanchez is technically a fifth rounder after all. He'll need some coaching up for a few seasons. He's got the bits and pieces to be good, and he looks a lot like Norman. I say we'll use Sanchez as depth this year and have Boykin start off at nickel, while Sanchez learns.

Lack of run support worries me some if we are going to put him in the slot. They often need to be able to step up and tackle, much moreso than an outside CB. The gambling stuff can be fixed hopefully but man he does bite hard on some of those double moves. I can't imagine he will be ready to do much as a rookie. Redshirt seems likely for him. We have Boykin to man the slot in the meantime.

Garrett is an enigma. I think that he got dinged a little too much because of a limited route tree and level of competition, but he has more than acceptable measurables. Throw in his production,  and I don't know how he wasn't drafted at all. He has legit upside.

Sanchez is a poor mans Janoris Jenkins and that's a compliment, he got beat a lot but he's a playmaker at least. And if you think Sanchez's tape is bad, forget about Worley. They should really consider putting Worley at safety.

I don't think you can look at college film and determine if a player will do better or worse in college without considering that college offenses and defenses are nothing like professional offenses for the most part. College corners for example rarely play press coverage yet in the NFL corners are expected to be able to do that even if you play primary zone. No team lines up in the same coverage or they get abused easily. What you look for is size, speed athleticism and intelligence which you can't teach. The rest you can.

it's insane to me that he went undrafted.. and we all know he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder because of it.
