Option A: Norman, Darian Thompson, Braxton Miller; Option B: No Norman, James Bradbury, Daryl Worley

Team A is going into 2016 with Josh Norman and Bene Benwikiere starting at corner and also grabs great players like Darian Thompson at safety and Braxton Miller at wide receiver. They don't have to worry about cornerback, so they use top picks on great players in other positions.

Team B is going into 2016 with Bene Benwikere and either Brandon Boykin or a rookie starting at corner after having to spend multiple early picks on James Bradbury and Daryl Worley in hopes that one of them can start in 2016.

Which team is in better position going into the 2016 regular season?

No offense taken. How so though?

The scenario involving Norman is easily the better one for 2016.  It's not a fair question.

It makes it seem like our decision was just limited to 2016.  Bradberry and Worley, along with deciding not to sign Norman to a long-term contract, go far beyond just a single season.

You can't make some sort of argument based on a chance event like the Draft with what-ifs. Had we not rescinded the tag, random chips might've fallen differently.

Or, Gettleman doesn't give a fug, was never going to extend Norman for a ridiculous sum, and was drafting the plumber regardless.

Thompson and Miller are not great players (great ones get scooped up in the upper part of the 1st round), and keeping Norman was a one year solution (and distraction).

You could 'what if' all day and include guys we could have kept and others we could have drafted, but what's the point, other than just wanting to complain? There's enough to discuss and argue about with the team we have. Living in the past is a waste of time.
