That tweet was posted during the NFC Championship. Louisiana Tech's season ended the week before Christmas.

Butler had already begun making preparations for the draft. He knew he was going to be in the green room.

What I did say is that tweet doesn't exactly appear to be humble. But that's it. After all, it's less than 140 characters from a long time ago. All you guys assumed I was trying to make a larger point than I actually was. I can't control the Huddle's rolling assumptions. 

And in case anyone cares, I was defending Tunsil in the other thread of posters were laying into him. 

I have no skin in the game. Just sharing honest opinion.

I agree 1000% with you.  Everyone assumed I was railing on the guy.  It was one innocuous tweet.  No biggie in my book.  But Huddle goes full retard no matter what.  Thanks for an actual discussion.

It's gotta be pretty damn cool as a college prospect to watch the Panthers crush the league last year, dancing, dabbing and smiling along the way, with a superstar QB you look up to, and now all of a sudden you get a phone call and now you are part of that team.

Not to beat a dead horse but your very first post said you thought he sounded arrogant. Then you doubled down by saying it again but rephrasing to say his quote didn't sound humble. THAT was why "the huddle" went "full retard."  I don't think there was much wiggle room displayed in your post that would lead anyone to think you had any positive thoughts but.. maybe we misinterpreted that the same way you misinterpreted this kid who at least put an "lol" in front of his message. ;-)
