I tried getting into the combo of watching the draft  on tv + discussing the picks on the huddle,  last year.   Was ruined by asshats that live on Twitter that posted all the picks before they were announced on tv.

It's hard to avoid the Huddle when you've been on it since the beginning of the draft discussing other things that have happened with other members of the forum.  Sure we could leave when pick 29 is in or something, but then we can't discuss what's going on!  Twitter usually spills the beans before TV does and most of us are watching it live on TV.  We enjoy the moment our team is standing up there at the podium.  It just sucks to refresh the Huddle and see someone start a thread about the pick because they wanted to be first and they saw it on Twitter (or elsewhere for that matter).  

Also, it doesn't happen often, but people have been wrong on Twitter before.  If we see it announced on TV, then we know it's legit.

I only ever know what the pick is when they announce it anyway....dunno if it makes sense to be actually watching it on TV and also be trying to find out what the pick is before they say it...just do one or the other...but like the other guy said...maybe I'm just old.

You have to post first if you want that precious pie. To me, that is the biggest difference between now, and when I joined years ago. A whole lot of folks live for that pie. You ain't got that zing, if you ain't got that pie.
