Your final predictions (#30)

Last year, I was on the Phillip Dorsett bandwagon. Boy am I glad we left him in the board!

This year, it's not that I don't care, it's that I trust the FO. That's a big step for anyone that's known me over the years.

Full disclosure though, I don't feel like this team can be successful minus a Greg Olsen. I feel like if he were to get injured, we would be in serious trouble. You guys remember that game where he fell awkwardly? I remember thinking we were done if he wasn't okay. That was a scary feeling! For that one reason alone, because he's that much of an impact, I'd like to see Hunter Henry. I wouldn't be devastated if we don't draft him though. I just feel that at some point in this draft, the TE position needs to be addressed! Even if it's a project, perhaps the BB player out of Baylor I believe. We need to start grooming a replacement for Olsen Imo. I always have wanted Bennet from CHI, but NE has him now unfortunately. Price tag trade wise was right, but we didn't go get him.

I digress. Like I said initially, I have full faith in our scouts and staff, that they will make the right decision. Having said that, it's unfortunate the way things played out with Josh. It just shows, that even now, things don't work as they should. I put that more on Josh and his agent than I do Gman though.

Its all good, but I want to see production from our 1st rounder. If we trade up fine, if we trade back, fine. Like everyone that has Carolina in its best interest, I hope we hit another home run when we pick. No team an ask for more than that

I'm not a fan of Dodd or Ogbah. I don't think there is a DE that can come in a contribute to the team right now. Which also makes me very happy that I am not a GM and I don't have to make any of these difficult decisions. So if G-man picks one of those dudes I'll be good.

Coleman

Dodd

Butler

Ogbah

In that order.

As badly as my heart wants him, my head is pretty sure Coleman will be long gone.  So, that leaves Dodd or Butler as the pick, and I'm very confident one of them will be there.  And due to his ability as a pass rusher, I think it will be Dodd.

Depending on if there is a little qb fever headed to the second round,

If yes, we drop back 1 spot in a trade with Denver to pick up their 4th rd pick and select Jackson III. With the 4th, we draft Hans Gruber since I cant remember his name and he has all the measurables of a top WR in this draft without the experience. Not so risky pick with lots of upside. Plus it would give them a reason to play Ramstein in BofA which is reason enough for me.

With no trade back, I see us going either Dodd or Jackson III, whichever is still on the board.
