More likely to blow a tire at speed limit, or 102?  More damage caused at speed limit, or 102?

I get you man.

But you cant tell me you have not gotten in a vehicle and wanted to see what ole girl can do?  Maybe when CAP has kids he will change his tune but for now his mentality is just being a kid.  Cant really fault him for that.

Its not like he stole the car.

I'm not condemning the kid to burn for his deeds.  A lot of people do stupid things when they're young.  I did plenty of stupid things, and I paid for them, just like he will.  That doesn't mean we should all say, "eh, no big deal," just because nobody got hurt.  It would be a different tone, if someone would have lost their life, including him.  I'm damn glad that didn't happen.

What is really the difference between this and him getting drunk and driving?  Both dumb moves.  It's actually worse because he had control of his mental self and STILL decided to do this.   It doesn't matter if "I did this once....", if you did, you're wrong as well.

That being said, I still find it weird that we allow cars to be made that even go that fast if it's illegal.

I've been nuch faster than the 110 i posted, but I wasn't trying to brag.

I did want to ask you a question.

Why would I have to be putting other lives at risk just cause I'm driving fast?

Not to start a debate about what is wrong, or what is right, but one can drive fast without endangering others.

If course, most people in and around Houstin have no concept of that. Lol

I commute to work at 60mph in a 65. I love my 40 + mpg.

P.S. Put the damn phone down!! Lol

Going under the speed limit is much worse. Causes people to hit their brakes on an interstate!

Because each state has its own laws about speeding, and not all cars are made to drive in the US. I have a BMW with a performance package on it and I have to set the warning alarm to alert me when I hit 90, otherwise, I don't feel it.

And FTR, the blinker is an optional equipment on them. :)

Wow... she is in great shape. looks like a 92? I'm guessing you sold her?

Unfortunately I let my sister borrow that wonderful car and she totaled it. She was not at fault. A van full of illegal immigrants ran a stop light and she t boned them. The illegal immigrants were covered in beer when they got out of their van because they were on a beer run and some of the beer exploded on impact. My sisters arms were cut up when the air bag deployed. The good news was that the dirtbag illegal immigrant was not the owner of the van. His girl friend had been loaning him the van for years, and she had insurance on it. She tried to fight in court saying that she never said he could borrow the van. The bad guys lost that day, and at least I got some money back to buy something else.

Sad Face..... Insurance hate these cars anyway... more than 1500 worth of damage they total them.

I think the junk dealer was laughing at me when I went to the junk yard and tried to get my CDs out of the 10 disc CD changer I had in the back. This was back when CDs were like $25 a pop and before MP3s. I couldn't get the damn thing open.

I know the numbers very well, as my mother was in insurance.

Did you know that policy for most companies operating CDL required trucks, is to never be faster than 5 mph under the speed limit?

Driving to slow is one thing, and i definitely have issues with people whom do that.

If a driver isn't able to handle vehicles 5 under the speed limit on multi-lane highways, then they are doing something wrong.
