I have a feeling about Ogbah after the Observer's article

top dawg

I'd love me some Ogbah.  My only concern is that his motor seems to run dry for games.  I saw one full game breakdown where he was exploding off the snap quicker than just about anyone I've ever seen.  I saw others where he kinda loafed, didn't fire off any faster than your average DLman, and kinda just stood up against his opposing OLman.  I have faith our coaching staff and the vets around him can make sure that's not a problem though.  When he was hustling, he was pressuring the QB almost every play.  From the beginning of my study of DEs, he's been my #1 choice.

ealy was much better in college bro , ogbah looks like a 3rd rounder at best . he has pass rushing talent dont get me wrong but he has no clue when it comes to the run

Yet somehow he had significantly more tackles than Ealy. How do you explain that?

But then I'd be like you. And I think that would just be...down right unconscionable.

I listened to Greg Cosell's Apr 22 podcast segment on WFNZ tonight, on J-No and Panthers' draft prospects.

He doesn't like Ogbah much...

He also doesn't really like Derrick Henry either.

Two players he mentioned he likes as possible Panthers picks (he didn't specify round)

CB Xavien Howard

OT Germain Ifedi

Greg Cossell also compares Wentz to Andrew Luck. I wouldn't put much faith into his analysises.

Ealy in 3 collegiate seasons - 96 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles
Ogbah in 3 collegiate seasons - 133 tackles, 35.5 tackles for loss, 35.5 sacks, 5 forced fumbles

Ogbah was also better in each stat (outside of FF) in each individual season. It wasn't just one monster year to get him those numbers. Double digit sacks in back to back seasons. Not sure how you can say Ealy was "much better in college".

ealy played in the sec vs top notch tackles. ogbah is a good pass rusher but  as a complete de he is raw . watch tape on ogbah not just highlights he gets washed away on runs and has no awareness when it comes to read options
