Norman was not a production of a system

Whose saying spend all the cap? Where are you pulling this non sense from? Most reasonable people wanted to rent Norman this season, it still would left us with a ton of space for next season. Do I have to dumb down everything to you?

it seems other posters had no problem reading my OP, I think I might have to dumb that for you to.

Sorry, but there is no possible way you could dumb down your posts any more than you do.

Here is one of your quotes: "Even after we tagged Norman we had more than enough cap space to sign who ever we wanted this and next year."

And another: "that one year rental wasn't gonna effect anybody else's contract"

That's just two. You have no idea how any of this works. Go watch your precious  All-22. LOL

And LOL, plenty of folks ridiculed your OP. But like everything else. You only see what is in front of your nose. Fugging idiot. Well, that may have been a tad harsh. So let's just go with. Stupid kid.

Both correct statements, you and the other idiots are worried about contracts 4 years down the line and trying to somehow connect Norman's tender to players not being able to paid 4 years from now.

You better hope I don't find your original post of Norman signing the tender, cause I'm gonna lambast you with it.

Still trying to figure out how rescinding the tag benefited us besides a comp pick?

i think we missed out on a great opportunity, I'm eager to see what the planning is behind this

It doesn't benifit us, click on the link I posted. 90% of these hypocritical idiots agreed with tagging Norman calling it the right and smart move. Some even wanted to give Norman a 14 mill a year contract

But now since Gettleman decided to rescind it, they all jumped shipped.

Comparing Norman to Cason and Florence is asinine.

Norman spent plenty of time in the system. Cason and Florence were 1 year rentals and stop gaps.

Your point of view is very flawed and I can't believe people don't see that Josh was a product of this system. This system is the perfect fit for him. I'm not saying he doesn't have talent, not at all. People with talent excel and become super stars, everyone else follows their assignments and looks formidable. Bene will be better than Josh, mark that down, he has a lot of talent as well and once he gets a couple of years in this system like Josh he'll be reaping a lot of success.

He never threatened to hold out. Nobody of consequence believed he would. Delaying signing your tag for a long term deal is fairly common business practice in this league. It was well known that he wanted to be here, as that quote along with everyone else close to the situation who has provided commentary on it has reiterated.

The only reason you don't sign it is if you think they are going to trade you or you want to give the appearance of holding out. Otherwise you sign it. If he had he would be here plain and simpl e. The only reason that we tagged him at all was to do a long term deal since we didn't intend to pay him 14 million on a one year rental. His not signing what everyone thought he wanted and failing to budge on anything finally turned Dave from the whole process. So he gave Josh what he wanted, freedom to sign anywhere. I don't know how anyone but an idiot can construe this as Gentleman's fault. The proof was when Josh demoted his agent for screwing things up. Any other take is making things up to scew the reality.

See, that is your biggest problem. You cannot see past this one event. 4 years down the line is just as important as this year. Idiots like you that are willing to crap on the future are what lousy teams do. Just because we lost ONE player you have gone totally ballistic. LOL at your pain.

Very few of us are happy Josh is gone. But the rational ones know that the money we saved will go a long way in helping us keep our core. Something a whiney little brat like you cares little about. Boo fuging hoo, we lost Josh. Now we suck. Ask mommy to make you some soup. Maybe that will appease you. Cuz you kinda suck at this football thingy.

Talk about hypocrites. You claimed you never brought up money. I showed you that you actually did. Face it kid, your whine has run its course. Of course you will never see it, cuz after all. Whining is what you do.

It really doesn't benefit us. We lost Josh, who we were hoping to have one more year. Gman made a judgement call. He didn't think we could keep Josh long term. And for the money Josh wanted, we couldn't. There is no way we could, or should, match what the skins gave him.

Sure it sucks. But only the selfish fans are going ballistic over this. Josh did what was best for him. Unfortunately, we got the shot end of the stick. We got some extra cap relief. And with the amount of players we need to sign during the up coming years. That money will come in handy. So that is the only real benefit we gained.

So your more worried about winning 4 years from now then ext season?

You don't even know what's gonna happen 4 years from now, injuries, retirements, trades LOL. Just go back to knob slobbing, you have no clue what to even say at this point.

And no the whole point of this thread was to discuss the whole Josh being a product of the system an argument, which you lost so you had to change subject to money. I then expose hypocrites who agreed with the tag but now disagree cause HURR DURR Gettleman does no wrong.

Yup, you just can't get past it can you? Poor kid. If you aren't thinking about the future. You are losing. But you know all about that don't you? Goober gon goob.

So to answer my question, you don't worry about the future, so you must be an idiot. Cleared that up as well.

You keep bringing up all these odd things. Wonder why that is? You got exposed, now you are fighting tooth and nail to stay afloat.

All I can do is wonder what oddball thing you will come up with next. Rather humorous really.

Well, it's almost dark. About time for you to head off to bed. We can pick this up again tomorrow.
