This is about as false a statement there can be, this is smith first major injury since breaking his arm. And d will, munnerlyn, and even Hardy had a decent years once they left here.

That's laughable. For one munnerlyn was not released, second Dwill is a backup RB, and 3rd Hardy does not even have a team and just proves my point. As for Smith that everyone wants to point out he was released because of attitude. He was also getting old and even broke his arm while playing flag football. But  now let's just ignore the facts and bitch about how terrible the team is.

Letting Norman walk imho was a mistake, there really isn't any positive about rescinding the tag we could have kept a pro bowl cb, draft a future replacement, this also would have gave us a chance to see if bene can play outside cb well, the chances Norman having a similar year to 2015 is slim, which could play to our hand if we really wanted to do a long term deal after 2016.

tbh I'm just growing tired of the constant excuses made anytime DG makes a questionable move. Some are no brainier decisions, some are tough decisions that you may not understand at first but eventually will but some, like this decision, are a head scratcher

I'm really interested to see Norman outside of our system.

You have some on here that say he is just a product of the system and some that say he is truly a lockdown corner. I'm somewhere in the middle, but am really interested to see if he is truly elite or if he was made much better by the other players on our defense.

Hes going to get his chances this year. He gets Antonio brown, AJ Green, Dez twice, Odell twice, KB, Jordy, Alshon, and Fitzgerald.

..Yea....pretty tall order. should be interesting.

Who's bitching about how terrible the team is ????????? D will was suppose to be a backup here but stew kept getting injured. Hardy wasn't cut either but him not having a team has more to do with outside issues then his play. What do you mean ignore facts I clearly stated smith first major injury since he broke his arm. Getting old, again I don't get it, his production increased after being cut, him being released had little to do with his level of play

The people going on about how Josh is supposedly old at 28...you all realize Charles Tillman is 35 and played great for us last season right?

Ehh Tillman was very suspect all year and he was being paid a couple mil. Washington will be playing JNo 15 mil into his mid 30s.

Take Tillman for example. Great corner in his prime. But the wheels fell off nearly instantly for him. That's the risk with older corners. Their longevity is only better than RBs in the pros.

He would have played eventually he had no leverage.... Play or sit.... Make nothing and hit the market next season at 29 not having played in a year.....

He could've held out till week 10 and played the last few weeks and still got credit for the season for free agency.

You didn't even realize Dwill shared being a starter with Jstew. Smh if anything Dwill was a starter here till he was cut. This was a big discussion about that but let me just stop because this is becoming a beat down.

D wills last couple of years he was pretty much suppose to be a backup to stew, but again stew kept getting hurt, if anything they split carries, d will only got a significant amount of carries when stew got hurt. This is basic Panther knowledge.....

But to go ahead and kill this discussion who in there right mind would think d will beats Levon bell out for the starter position ????
