Hmm...why isn't a single Panther, not even in the secondary, mad at Josh?

The alternative was paying him more than he's worth to our defense. So yes, I'm happy we made the right call by not making him the highest paid corner in league history at 28 years old.

Yeah, again, for the millionth time, that was a decision for 2017. We already had his tag budgeted for 2016 and we were looking fine.

There was no future for Josh here. The 1 year rental was completely pointless. The use of the franchise tag is to allow more time for negotiations with a player who the team believes is a "franchise" player. We'll use that money on much more important players. It was a necessary move for the future of this team. It won't show this year, but it will in the long run.

I'm not happy. Are you happy that our stud franchise corner in his prime won't be here next year and we got nothing for him?

Seriously? Like 60-75% of the Huddle, depending on the thread.

LOL. You are one insecure dude. My God man, it is just football. It's entertainment. You are acting like this is life and death.

I do however seem to be enjoying your pain. Does that make me a bad person? Oh well, that's a thread for another day.

2.3m for four seasons is peanuts? Poooooooooooooo, I make 80k a year at the moment. I'd trade that in a heartbeat.

we are talking about the skewed NFL world.  given the level of play he had reached...he hadn't made much.

Norman was rare in the NFL.  His rise to elite play was weirdly timed and then couple that with his age....

hell, I'd take practice squad money

Someone needs to make a greatest hits of all your reactionary posts throughout the years. They're comical to say the least.

Too bad we can't bump old threads anymore because I just read through some old pro-Norman threads from 2015 where a lot of people saying he's overpaid and overrated were calling him the best in the league, better than Sherman just months ago on here.
