Goodbye JNo. Nice knowing you. Just know you're not getting a ring for the length of your contract. Maybe come back in about 2-3 years for vet min. when you're exposed?

You act like we're going to the Super Bowl sometime soon or something.............

Would it kill you to ever be optimistic about this team? What's the point of being a fan if all you're going to do is be negative about everything the team does?

We will make it back, how can you doubt the drive in Cam? We also get KB back, that is huge. We have played well with scraps in the secondary before. Yes we wont be as good with Norman gone, but Ealy showed flashes and CJ lost the big money label and wants to return to form. We could revert back to 2013 sack numbers. We still have the draft and Gman has been hitting homeruns. I fully believe we will be back in the superbowl this season.

Honestly it's just my side of wishing JNo stays with us that's getting to me. It's plausible if he genuinely loves the Panthers. I don't believe he will be as good in another scheme, but it's a no brainer that he'll be somewhat decent on another team. He probably won't be the shutdown corner he once was on the Skins, but he'll be a decent enough threat. OBJ x2, and KB vs JNo should be some interesting matchups.

Just because he's visiting the Redskins or any other team doesn't mean he will sign. When we cut CJ he visited the Giants and got an offer that was twice as much as what he eventually came back to us for. Josh will take visits simply to see what else everyone is offering and weigh that against the numbers we floated. I take the fact that he hired a new agent the day after we rescinded the tag as a good sign that he realizes his former representation was part of how he ended up in this (bad) situation and there was no way to move forward with us without a new agent.

It's particularly worth noting that Gettleman was pro personnel director in the Giants org when Accorsi (GM) did this same thing with Plexico Burress, and after a few visits Burress came back, so Gettleman might be taking a page right out of Accorsi's playbook on this. Rescind the tag late in FA when most of the money has already been spent and the player will realize his best option is to stay put.

I also distinctly remember Polian saying he refused to officially enter negotiations with a player until the tag was signed because he wasn't going to play his hand until he had fully secured exclusive rights to the player. Gettleman said he had conversations with Norman's agent and Norman where they probably threw some numbers around, but I'd imagine Gettleman told them he wouldn't talk real numbers until the tender was signed and Norman's agent told Gettleman they wouldn't sign the tag and report until they had agreed in principle on an acceptable long term deal. So, Gettleman got tired of dealing with the agents refusal to operate in good faith by having his client sign the tag and took the next step.

I strongly suspect Norman will be back here... Gettleman say we've "moved on" to demonstrate our resolve but this is all a game of chicken.

Nothing about this situation screams positivity to me.  Not to mention the Hornets are shitting the bed horribly.

OU got their asses fuged hard in the Final Four, UNC lost on a last second shot, and OU got beat by fuging Clemson in the CFP (which for some reason is still going to be played on New Years Eve).

Lastly, YOU yourself was positive all year and you see where that got you.  A shitting of the bed in the Super Bowl of epic proportions, and a last second loss in the Championship game.  Which you predicted both being won by your teams.

How did that positivity work out for you?  Oh, that's what I thought.

So maybe, you should stop being so positive, and be more realistic.

Skins offer the other day was slightly north of 13m per. Hmmmmm

So take 13 mil to go to a new team in a new city and start over again or 11 mil to stay with the org that turned you into a star... Hmmmm

If Josh has a brain he'll realize this is a no-brainer.

I think a lil' happiness will do you good.

No that was the first offer, word is the offer he just got is over 15m per. Close to 80m over 5 years type of mega deal. His contract is expected to reset the DB market.
