After researching his prior agent, it seems he has completed 6 prior contracts, all in the NBA.

He's still not going to come back here.

He is coming back! The professional is in the building now! He would have already signed with another team if it was about the money! Old agent prolly promised him too much over the last week and when other offers rolled in last night, Josh went "wtf, you fired!"

Regardless, this is a very significant development that says a lot about what transpired and perhaps about where Josh's heart and head may not be as deep into his wallet as they seem. He deserves to get paid, don't get me wrong, but maybe getting the absolute highest dollar isn't quite as important as he made it seem.

I wonder if this constitutes a true agent change because according to the rules, Josh would need to wait 5 business days for the agent change to formalize and be able to negotiate a deal with teams. However, 5 business days ends up going to the day of the draft...not ideal.

 

Might be why his current agent is staying on as a co-rep as that may circumvent the 5-day waiting period?
