Lets get this out the way, Panthers Are Not Going To The SB Without Josh

Well Damn.

I have always been optimistic.  Our secondary may not be as exciting to watch but I believe we will find that person to fit the bill.  Whether for one season or long term.

I also believe that our P.S. isn't just for scrubs to play another.  I think we have talent on that team and maybe one of them is ready to step up and be a difference maker for this team.

Odds were already stacked against us because we lost the SB, but I knew we were going back

But now without a corner we know can hold his own against any WR it's definitely not happening now. Unless we get that it's not going to happen. Our pass rushers isn't = Ware & Von 2015, even then Broncos still had Talib. I hate Seattle even more now, they kept Sherman, Kam & Earl together. Josh was a reason so many fans and players were so salty last year and I enjoyed every minute of it damn. Good luck to him

Is that you Marty Hurney from 2009?

That garbage was sixth in the league as far as sacks go last season. The team had 44 total sacks on the season. Five more sacks throughout the season, which equates to .333 sacks per game difference, and the Panthers would have been tied for second. The Panthers averaged 2.75 sacks per game. The league leader, Denver with 52, averaged exactly .5 sacks more per game. How exactly is that garbage?

there are two things in hyperbole land

1.  the best in the league or leading the league in some category

2.  garbage

let's not even give consideration to the fact that charles johnson was on injured reserve for most of the season and a fossil like jared allen was leading the rotation yet we still managed to finish where we did.  if you're finishing a hair outside of the top five in sacks you don't have a problem rushing the passer.

I honestly think bene will step up this year barring his leg giving him issues and I think McClain will take the next step. McClain was kinda thrown into the fire and performed decent, his instincts are good just needs time and experience.

McClain was drafted in 2010, playing in 70 games since then with 20 starts. I agree that he performed well and could continue to contribute, but he's probably not going to change much as a player at this point.

I disagree. Sure, there's no way losing JNo helps, but we still have plenty to work with. When Benji went down last year people said the same thing and look what happened.

And most of those were on blitzes. Im talking about strictly front 4 pressure, and other than Short no one was really a dominant rusher. When you can rush with just 4 guys its alot easier on the secondary
