we not need a shutdown corner to have a great defense (2013). it would be a waste to pay him that much and to have that kind of calibur player! now norman can go to a team that runs much more man coverage and he can proceed to be the shutdown corner he is.

we didn't need a shutdown corner

BUT we did need a 2013 Greg Hardy with 15 sacks and 2013 Charles Johnson with 11 off the edges dominating.

so....we need to get much better somewhere to make up for losing an All Pro caliber corner who allowed our D to be great with meh DE play

Why is this throwing shade. Josh knows his worth and he's going to be paid what he's worth. Things are coming up roses for Josh and PP7 is point that out. Always know your worth and get every penny.

Never mind now PP7 is outright admitting he was attacking Josh. Why are football players so stupid when it comes to the media? Is it all the head injuries? WTF?

I think he may have originally posted it in a positive sense but realized the masses would read it in the negative sense it could be read in, like OP

Possibly, but it definitely doesn't come off that way with either tweet.

True. I just don't want dishonest people around the team. It hurts the team ala Greg Hardy. We could have partaken in free agency in a greater degree to find a reasonably priced replacement, but instead he lied and strung the team along. Now we have to hope we can find a band-aid good enough to patch the gaping hole he left. His dishonesty affected the team's chances at being competitive. Not to the point where anything overly bad will happen, but it hurt the team nonetheless. He's dishonest.

Valid points

You think he was saying it in that sense ? The, go get what you know you deserve, Josh, sense ?

Maybe

Man the NFL is a brotherhood. Yea you get your little beefs like josh vs ODB but for the most part they all want each other to get played. Especially players that play the same position.
