something changed.

Not really.  Apparently Norman was not comfortable playing under the tag.

Panther deal is still waiting for him if he wants it, I'm sure of that.

If it's for a million million and a half less than what everyone else is offering he might even sign with us. It's Gettlman's way of letting him see that the grass is not greener on the other side

It's all good. Gettleman will make some bandaid signings, we'll do good until the playoffs, then some QB will will torch our trash secondary for 500 yards and 6 TDs in the NFCCG or SB. You know, kinda like what happened to our OL in the SB this year. In Gettleman We Trust.

Honestly, it's just as likely Gettleman's luck finally runs out as it is that Norman is not worth what he was asking for. Both only have one great season to hang their hat on, but of course everyone thinks Gettleman is and will continue to be a genius because Gettleman finally had some success with the core Hurney drafted and that Norman will return to being a scrub now that he's not a Panther.

And the pathetic trolls start coming out in force.

They were starting to think he wouldn't sign it and long term Panthers weren't willing to go over 11-12m per Voth.

Some of you worry too much. Th dude ain't that good and he certainly wants more money than he's worth. He was a product of our system. I could care less if he comes back.

If he wasn't that good why tag him in the 1st place, he may not be worth 16-17 but he is a damn good CB. IMO he test market may get a bigger contract but comes back to Carolina  like CJ.

I understand he's closing fast on 30 and his window us short but...  FUG YOU DUDE. Go play behind a front seven not even in the same stratosphere as ours and watch,  you won't sniff another pro bowl. Kindly take a step back,  and fornicate your own face. Peace bitch
