i haven't really looked at CBs in this draft, so i don't know, but i wonder if one of these CB needy teams takes josh and leaves an opening for a CB to fall somewhere in the draft that we may not have had the chance to get before.

this has to be super tough for josh. on the one hand it's established he loves the city of charlotte, the fans, the team, and really, really wants to be a carolina panther. he's an all-star with great connections here and has zero incentive to leave.

on the other hand he's essentially playing for his first and last big contract. he could break knee on opening day and lose his career. this is the only time in his life he's going to be able to make that kind of money and he's got to allow himself to go out and make it at the level he's merited with his play.

for his sake i hope he gets a sweet gig in LA or something at 16m a year and has only one terrible game the entire year.
