Well, at least we aren't talking about D. Henry anymore. Good luck Josh. You were a hoot, but bidness is bidness.

You're coming at this that it's all his fault, he wanted Panthers to legitly negotiate with him and they refused and they shortchanged him again. The most likely truth is they knew he would refuse and word is they didn't want him on any type of long term deal that was significantly higher then the 7m a season offered last offseason.

If you have been around here for the last 3 years you would know that Gman is willing to pay a fair value for a player. If he and Josh could not get together on a price. The chances are, Josh wanted significantly more than what Gman was willing to pay. Plain and Simple.

Also, throwing out numbers without knowing the truth is a bad argument.

It is his fault he wouldnt sign the tender. Gettleman always said he wanted to work a long term deal. You cant when both sides were that far apart. Who made it that far apart on the asking price....Josh did. This is totally his fault.

What if Panthers only offered 9 million a season max. Josh is clearly worth at least 12.5-14 a season long term. You always start high and work down in negotiations.

The fact is without knowing what the Panthers offered, you can't legitly blame Josh. Hypothetically what if they offered the 4 year 7m per deal from last offseason again.

Thats not negotiating in good faith at all. Clearly I'm not saying this happened just what if.
