2 years ago, people were talking of cutting him. He hasn't established any consistency. One good year. It'll be so fun watching him on a team that misses the playoffs every year or better yet he goes back to sucking ass.

If he signed the tag, and another team played on him, they'd have to give us two 1st round picks, plus whatever deal they worked out.  No team is going to do that for a 29 year old CB.

Well that is crazy. I suppose Norman was not negotiating in good faith. 

I didn't see that coming I wasn't thrilled with his approach to free agency didn't expect this. His media tour thing did not help his cause.

So I'll gladly be accepting the crow anyone wants to eat when they told me josh is definitely getting tagged when I said they were either giving him the long term or letting him walk. The vast majority of this board didn't think it was disrespectful to give josh the tag and he wouldn't be upset by getting it.

This right here is a Steve Smith level type of move. One of those crazy-never-would've-imagined kinds. Everyone wondered if we would ever make it without Smitty. We've managed quite fine. Everyone is now wondering if we'll survive without JNo. Well, I trust Gman. 

I won't say a word about this until the season starts. Let the season play out, and see how we fare.

No they couldn't. That another of the side effects of him not signing the tendered franchise deal. It was the non-exclusive tag as well so he could have talked to other teams. Either he didn't want to expecting a long term deal here or nobody was interested in starting talks at his asking price.
